Carl Marquess, M.D., a member of Eye Care Associates of Kentucky, has practiced ophthalmology in his hometown of Paducah, KY., for 15 years.
Ophthalmology is a branch of medical science that deals with the structure, function, and diseases of the eye. Dr. Marquess performs cataract surgery without stitches and without shots around the eye. Dr. Marquess also performs laser surgery.
Dr. Marquess received his undergraduate degree from Murray State University and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He served both his internship and residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport before returning to Paducah to practice.
Dr. Marquess is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is affiliated with Western Baptist and Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, and also with Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, KY., where he conducts a weekly clinic. |
