A native of Western Kentucky, Dr. Laurel Little Van Horn graduated from Murray State University in 1995 with her Bachelor’s of Science degree. In 1999, she received her doctorate of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During her professional training, Dr. Van Horn was awarded several honors including outstanding Senior Clinician and the American Optometric Association/Vistakon Award for Contact Lens Excellence.

Dr. Van Horn is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Kentucky Optometric Association, West Kentucky Optometric Society, and a Kentucky Vision Project board member. Her community involvement includes being a member and past-president of the Benton Lion’s Club and a past board member of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Van Horn resides in Benton, Kentucky with her husband Brian and son Will.
